Cloud Atlas Readalong ANNOUNCEMENT!

Hello readers! April over at The Steadfast Reader and I were talking over our shared love of The Bone Clocks, by David Mitchell, and decided we should read Cloud Atlas together soon. Well soon is now, people, and she smartly suggested co-hosting a readalong for the month of April! Get PUMPED, and consider this your official invitation to participate!

Click here to be taken to the Goodreads synopsis. If you’ve read other Mitchell, this book is structured similarly, and divided into several sections. We thought we’d read 2-3 sections per week, with final thoughts at the end of the month!

Schedule of events:
  • April 2 – Sections 1 & 2
  • April 9 – Sections 3 & 4
  • April 16 – Sections 5 & 6
  • April 23 – Sections 7 & 8
  • April 29 – Sections 9, 10, & 11

Obviously, you can post whenever and whatever you want during the month, but this just provides a flexible schedule to guide our reading. On the above dates we will each post our own thoughts of the “assigned” sections on our respective blogs, and supply a link-up for all your posts as well! We considered providing discussion questions, but thought it would be more fun to see the unique things people will undoubtedly come up with!

We would LOVE IT, if those of you reading along posted your thoughts as you read, either on your own blogs, in the comments section, or via Twitter conversations using #CloudAtlasAlong so we can chat along with you!

We hope you’ll read along with us!

    1. Yes, do it! You’ll be among friends.:) “The Bone Clocks” was the first thing I ever read by him, and as much as I loved it, I wish I would have read Cloud Atlas first.
